  • Our Birth Matters and Breastfeeding Matters classes are held in a large, air-conditioned space designed for comfort, connection, and learning.

    We sit in groups at round tables, creating a relaxed, welcoming environment that encourages conversation, shared experiences, and questions

    It’s not a lecture — it’s a friendly, engaging experience designed to help you feel calm, informed, and confident as you prepare for birth, feeding your baby, and early parenthood.

  • Childbirth education offers more than information — it’s a chance to meet other parents, form meaningful connections, and feel supported.


    You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions, explore your options, and build confidence as you prepare for birth and parenthood.

  • Confident Birthing classes ideally from 28 + weeks of pregnancy and upwards.

    You can be uncomfortable sitting in the later stages of pregancy so booking at these gestations are ideal but book what suits you.

    Breastfeeding Confidence & Newborn Sleep classes idealy from 32 + weeks of pregancy and upwards.

  • Face to face: on Saturdays

    Time: 9.00 - 3.30pm

    Location: WD Building (AUT) Saint Paul Street, Auckland CBD

    Online sessions; Weekday evenings online 6-8pm

  • Absolutely! partners and support people are warmly encouraged to attend.

  • You will still find the clasess so helpful we cover waht to expect for surgical birthing and how to make it as natural as possible. There are bound to be other parents choosing this birth method so you can connect with other parents. You will feel welcomed and included. Your body your birth is our philosophy.

  • Our classes are perfect for pregnant first time parents, if its your secondtime you are still most welcome.

    Most suitable for people birthing anywhere in New Zealand, Australia or Asia and the Pacific region.

    • Wear comfortable clothing

    • You can bring a pillow for support

    • Water bottle; filtered water available on site

    • BYO packed lunch or there are coffee & food available to purchase, a short walk from venue.

  • Yes, street parking is available on St Paul Street outside the venue or Wilsons Parking is very close by on Wakefield Street cost $9 a day.

  • Yes — you can reschedule or cancel your class booking depending on the circumstances. We know the the unexpected can happen. Please email us with your request and reasons (T&Cs may apply )

    5. Being prepared when you need extra help birthing. Includes assisted vaginal birth, C-section birthing emergency & elective.

    Afternoon session

    1. Your amazing newborn how to care for them & what you need

    2. Parenting 101 + (special partners session)

    3. Breastfeeding getting off to the best start. How milk is made and overcoming common problems, pumping and more..

    4. The science of newborn sleep and coping with the early weeks.

    You will receive a package of takeway information including check list of what to bring to hospital and a birthplan outline.
